August 1, 2009: Mitchell, Wiggins & Company LLP, a regional accounting firm based in central Virginia, announced the hiring of Laura L. Edwards as Staff Accountant for the Richmond, Virginia office location. Mitchell, Wiggins & Company LLP is pleased to announce the hiring of Laura L. Edwards as Staff Accountant. In her role, Ms. Edwards will be focusing in the areas of audit and tax. She is a May 2009 graduate of James Madison University with a Master of Science in Accounting degree along with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting awarded in May 2008 Ms. Edwards was previously employed by PBGH in Harrisonburg, Virginia and Robinson, Farmer, Cox Associates in Verona, Virginia as an intern. She was a recipient of a partial Scholarship from RFCA Educational Foundation, a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars as well as Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization. She is a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
